FLOOR LAMINATION

Floor lamination consists of multiple layers that are fused together through a lamination process. The top layer, known as the "wear layer" or "decorative layer," is a high-resolution photograph of real wood, stone, or tile, which is then covered with a clear protective layer to enhance its durability. Beneath the wear layer is the core layer, typically made of high-density fiberboard (HDF) or particleboard, which provides stability and strength. The bottom layer, often called the "backing" or "underlayment," serves as a moisture barrier and helps balance the flooring.
